Hi everyone. Thank you all for calling me while I was in the hospital and talking to me. I apologize for the times when the line was busy or I wasn't available. I had been working on occupational therapy and speech therapy. The speech therapy is one that helps me regain what was lost in speech. Thank goodness not much was lost or damaged in speech. On the other hand, I have also been working with occupational therapy which directly relates to things I would do at work. This area was completely affected. It involves such things as math, problem solving, figuring out sequences, and decision making. I can relearn what has been affected because the brain has the ability to do that. The worst part is that it seems to have isolated and damaged everything associated with work. Or, I could simply use all of my abilities to do work. It could be both.
I have been home for a couple of weeks. Mom and Dad are taking turns staying with me. They are really doing a good job. Due to the halo, I am unable to drive which leads me to another topic. I was able to replace the Mazda with a Honda Civic. The Honda Civic is such a better car than the Mazda. I bought the Honda rather than leasing it. I haven't driven it yet, but mom says it is a wonderful car. The safety options on it include driver and passenger airbags, and side curtain airbags, anti-lock brakes, great crash test results, and seatbelts with an annoying beeping until they are all on everyone in the car. It is dark blue on exterior and light gray on interior.
Believe it or not, the dealership even had my plates ordered and installed on the car when we picked it up. That sure was nice. Mom drove the Civic to the farm this weekend and we plan to go to Kim's daughter's birthday party in it.
As everyone that has talked to me on at least 2 occasions, you will notice that I have terrible short term memory loss. It doesn't mean I can't do things. It just means that I have to write everything down. This includes things such as that I just called someone and left a message to call back. I have done this and when the person calls back, I don't know why they have called. It's quite embarrassing but that will hopefully get better. I would call it one of the most serious of the side affects, very close to the memory problems related to work reltated material.
I have all of my major and minor motor skills available. I did go to Mayo for a followup yesterdday and they committed that the halo will be removed on March 20th. That at least gives me an ending date to this heavy contraptrion on my head. I have purchased a large exercise ball and continue to do stretches and exercises I learned while in Therapy.
I've gotten to know Mom and Dad since I have been out and contrary to my belief and expectations, they are very pleasant people to be with. They have changed so much and are cool people to hang around with. I've needed to coordinate so much at my place and they have helped me so much that it is unbelievable. My place actually has an order to it.
I got a laptop with Vista on it. It is a nice platform that replaces Windows XP. I really like the Word 2000 edition. That sure has changed a lot. A lot for the better that is.
Other than that, there is nothing going on except that I will have to mention that I did break about 5 bones in my neck, one in my upper leg, one in my face, my skull was fractured, and then I developed another fracture in my ear area a couple of weeks after the accident. I can actually say I am lucky to be alive and actually lucky not to be paralized.
Have a great day!!!

Mayo, (what does mayo stand for?)
I woke up in the Mayo Hospital with little to no recall of what happened to me. The odd part about it was that I had been at the Hospital for well over a week. I had dreamed, or envisioned, that I was already "recovered" and had gotten a new car and had been driving it. I even dreamed, or envisioned during this stupor that I had checked out and checked back in to the hospital.
The odd thing is that so much of this seemed so real to me. I couldn't believe none of it was true except that I was in the hospital with a severe head trauma injury. I came out of my stupor approximately 2 weeks ago when I realized I was really at the Mayo Hospital and I had not cheched out, driven my new car, and all the other things I had dreamt. The dreams seemed so real that it was hard to disregard them. I finally did when I had to confront them.
I guess my dreams were very similar to my regular life that I think I am invincible and that if I want to do something, I simply just go out and do it. Not this time... I have a halo on my head which keeps my neck safe. I broke my neck after having a terrible automobile accident. I believe I was ejected from the car but before being ejected, I believe my head had struck the passenger side window and I was thrown from the vehicle. I believe the impact with the window caused my broken neck, the laceration on my scalp, and the brain trauma. I am not sure about any of the above except the physical condition of myself seems to support the above information.
I am in rehab. at the Mayo Hospital in Rocherster. I am very lucky to be in this facility compared to any other facility in the United States. This facility is well known for it's head injury treatment among a whole array of other specific specialties.
I will be here until about noon on February 5th, 2007. I have been working with the rehab doctors in all areas including my physical recovery and my mental recovery. I have a lot of my minor and major motor skills. Did I lose any memory? Yes, I did. To what extent, I will not know until I stumble accross something, then I will remember that I don't know something. It is kind of weird.
I have not been at work since the day of the accident. I am currently on short term leave which may turn into long term leave.
My main focus is to leave the hospital in good care of my father, Robert Kroll. On my release date, we will head to my home and make plans after that.
The plans will include out-patient rehab and I don't know how long that will last. It will have to last as long as necessary. At this time, I am certain I would not be able to function in my job at all. Given enough time and rehab, I should be able to recover and relearn everything that has been compromised.
I have made arrangements to pick up a new car, a dark blue 2007 Honda Civic. This was the next car I was going to get after the Mazda 3 lease expired next year. The Mazda was totalled in the accident and the transition to the new car will happen sooner than I expected. Since mom and dad will be driving me a lot, especially to and from my rehab appointments, I will suggest they drive the Civic to save on gas and the wear and tear to their vehicle. It seems only fair. I would rather pay for gasoline in a Honda than a van or a car any bigger than a Honda. This may be a treat for mom and dad to trex me around in a new smelling car for something they never asked for which is to haul me around to my doctor appointments.
I've had the halo on my head since the middle of January. I should have it removed in 12 weeks which will be around the middle April. It seems like a long time but I would rather wear the halo than have to choose the alternatives of paralyses or death. After the halo is on for awhile, you kind of get used to it. It is rather heavy but it is protecting my neck and spine and allowing it to heal properly. I have no grounds to complain.
Don't worry because when I am with mom and dad during the care they are providing for me, I will listen to them. There will be no arguments, temper tantrums, or anything similar because I simply will not put up with it. I will just apply my "parenting with love and logic" and everything will be fine.
Good luck mom and dad.
I will write later to keep all informed. Thanks everybody for the cards, flower, and misc. other things such as the telephone calls, the prayers, and all the wishes for a quick and speedy recovery.
Later,
Ron.

Oak, Birch, and other words that don't contain the letter "z"
This is going to be short, I am watching the packers and patriots. Not a good game. The season is good though since the packers beat the vikings last week.
Also doing some misc. paperwork.
Nothing more to add.
Take Care All,

Greatful Dead Trees
Trust Everything with Caution. Everytime I log in to write a blog, this first line in always there. I have always written over it but this time I will leave it. I know what it means to me. What does it mean to you?
Deb and I have done it. We went to Hawaii and were able to come back in one piece. I had a good time in that I found out Hawaii is a good place to visit and vacation. I can probably do the same thing in my back yard. What did Deb find out in Hawaii. Probably that there are places to vacation and there are places to visit.
I think places to visit would be less intriguiging than places to vacation. You know what, we flew there on an airplane, total fly time of about 10 hours. We stayed in a hotel with a t.v., shower, bed, and ironing board. This is not much different than staying at the Days Inn in Sheboygan. The tempature, of course, was about 30 degrees warmer.
We ate very well there, whether being fed by the credit union function or by ourselves. One dinner tab exceeded 230. We went to eat with a couple we met there who nearly reached the same tab we had. I was the most expensive and welcoming restaurant on the island....it is called Mama's Fish Shop. The scenery and atmosphere were one of a kind. I felt a bit guilty about this splurge of spending since the credit union was picking up the tab. But on the other hand, I was there to learn during the seminars that I attended.
We found some very cool artwork, which I took pictures of (and Deb deleted because the female upper anatomy was part of it) That is her peragotive. I will always hold it against her.
I went snorkeling twice. The second time I took some underwater photographs of fish. The first time I almost drowned. The first time is a long story, but as I was drowning, Deb was laughing because she thought I was fooling around. I noticed the couple next to her, (they were a little older) knew that my situation was serious. I could see the look on their faces!!! It was similar to mine.... their look said "that guy is drowning!!!!!" The look on my face was, "I am almost dead". Whatever it took, whether it was current in my favor or my 7th of my 9 lives, I was able to find the shore still conscious.
I fell prone on a beach chair and started choking up salt water for about 15 minutes..... the whole time Deb was asking what's up? I guess she doesn't really know what a drowing victim looks like up close..
Onto other things. There was a getko in our room on of the nights. I thought it was a humongous spider. Deb smashed it with her slippers and then because she was so grossed out, she through the slippers away.
The only other event worth mentioning was the rental car that we got. It had about 10k for mileage but it was trashed more than a 1984 dodge cold would have been trashed with 230,999 miles on it. I asked for a different car and it was a little better. It seemed like a care with only 200,000 miles on it. I again brought up this concern but the gal asked me what I wanted to do about it. I wanted a reasonable car. She suggested that they take an hour or 2 to detail the care so it was acceptable. I simply declined. We went to our resort room and crashed for the night.
With renewed energy from sleeping, I suggested we go back and get a car that would be acceptable. We were able to get one that had 9 miles on it. There was nothing we could complain about and it was fine so we took it.
It was actually a larger size car and it smelled new. I guess we couldn't have done better than that.
We took the road to Hana. It was the most windy, not windy but windy road, with curse every few hundred feet. Deb was near the steep rise of the shoulder which was actually vertical. She was about 2 feet away from the terrain and it was causing significant car sickness. I offered to pull over for her to vomit. She said she would manage.
When we were coming down this road to Hana, I decided that I needed to take picture without stopping. This was unacceptable to Deb so I offered to have her walk back. After a calculated compromise. She stayed in the car and I continued to take pictures as I drove. (I am sorry for the bikers who lost control while I was on the wrong side of the road). Some would say it was accidental, I just say their brakes were not appropriately adjusted. Either way, nobody was injured, arrested, or died that we know about.
We never made it to Hana but we were able to visit a house for sale. It was a 2 br, 2 bth house, over looking nothing but some trees for 890,000. That is the equilalent to $890,000. The most impressive thing about the home was that it was on 2.5 acres.
I think that was a lot for a house.
On the way back we say another house, probably about 6 times the size with both a bluff view and the ocean view, all in brick and upscale building materials. We guessed its value of about 6 million but we are probably low.

peak cranberry season
I posted this weekend but the post must have gotten zapped. I had posted about a particular claim I had over the weekend involving a fire in Sheboygan. Oh, well.
It is gone forever, unless I write about it again.
It is official, Deb and I are going to Maui in May. The tickets are purchased and there is no going back. The tickets are non-refundable. The plane ride should be very enjoyable. I will remember to bring two 4 packs of guinness to drink on the plane. It will be 8 hrs. I figure 1 an hour will do it. I don't know what Deb's going to do sitting on the plane for that long. I might have to put her out on the wing for awhile so she can stretch her legs.
Nothing else going one over here. Just working and coming home. Then working more.
Deb only has 19 more years to go until she finishes her Masters. All she does is homework. I remember the good old days when I was doing my Masters. I didn't do half the stuff Deb is doing.
Later...

Beach, Paper, and Starship
Well,
It was a long day. One of the things I did today was to ask a 20 year old kid who accidently but negligently burned down his father's garage to repay the amount we paid his dad ($43,100). Normally you would not ask a relative to pay back damage that he caused at his dad's place.
This was a little unusual since the kid did not live with his dad. He lives with his mother at a different home. If he would have been living with his dad, he would be immune from having to pay back this money (since he would be an insured under the dad's policy and we can't request reimbursement from an insured). Who knew living with your mom instead of your dad could be so expensive?
Another thing that came up today included a paint bucket that was knocked off a ladder that spilled paint all over a new carpet. In this case we will be replacing the carpeting.
I also think I crashed the company computer and servers at work. I was doing something (I won't say what) and kaboom! My computer crashed. Windows started popping up and there were error messages all over the place. My boss came around and I thought I was busted. Do you remember the commercial when the woman opened a "pink slip virus" and it crashed her's and the whole company's system? I think it was a Southwest Airline commercial. I kind of felt like that today. Maybe it wasn't me that crashed the system. ....but it sure felt like it.
I was searching around on the human resources website yesterday and went into the vacation section. I was under the impression that I had 10 days, plus 2 floats of vacation. I tried to follow their flowchart, schematics, and examples but I could not figure out how many days I really had. I called h.r. They said I was in my 6th year there. (I thought I was only in year 4)
That meant I have 15 days, plus 2 floats of vacation. Not only did I find out that I had this many days, but I even had 15 days plus 2 floats last year.
I thought I used all my 10 days last year including the 2 floats. BONUS!!!. So this year I really have a total of 20 days, plus 2 floats. I haven't used any yet. I haven't even used any sick time for the kids or myself. (The 5 extra that I didn't know about carried over to this year).
Not much else going on here. I had twisted my back and I had been in some serious paralizing pain since Thursday of last week. I have refused to go to the chiropractor since I didn't want to incur a copay. Anyway, my back is almost back to normal. : -)
I talked to my old co-worker that I used to work with at State Farm in Colorado. He filled me in on some stuff over there and I filled him in on all the developments over here, just the basics, nothing extravagent.
That angel light thing is kind of freaky that John posted. If I had that, I would probably hurt somebody, but I would probably do the same thing like put my hand in front of it. Heck, I probably would have probably put my face right in front of it. That is something they could shoot at people who are fleeing the police in their cars to knock out the car's power. Or they could use it to take multiple photographs of North Korea's dictator.
If anybody would like to try to kill or capture osama bin laden, I would be willing to go with you now that I have 5 extra days of vacation. I would like to catch him for the reward. I would have a better chance of catching him than I would of winning $1 through a scratch off ticket.
I am going to read a little bit and then go to sleep.

Rock Therapy and Software
I looked in the bathroom mirror Saturday morning and saw this fat pudgy guy standing behind me. It was a little odd because I couldn't see myself in the mirror; kind of vampire-like. This person had a beard, a pronounced receeding hairline, and looked rather pudgy.
I brushed my teeth and he was still there. I looked a little closer as I reached over the counter for something and the guy reached for the same thing. I screamed. Deb came in and asked what was going on. I told her I can see someone in the mirror. ...I said he looked weird and asked what I should do.
She said I need to lose weight, take care of myself, exercise, and that I need to understand that I am getting older.
I then went to Walmart with Ellen and Sarah. There was a table set up for a blood pressure and cholesterol testing. My blood pressure has always been just o.k. This time, and actually a few times before this, it showed that I was in the hypertensive-about to die category. The next catergory worse than this is the "dead for over 48 hours" category. Wow, if that wasn't bad. I then went over to the booth for the cholesterol test. You will have to realize that I am on cholesterol lowering medicine already. Anyway, they measured my cholesterol level and I thought it would be within a good range, certainly below 200. Well, it was actually 231.
If anybody wants to know about cholesterol, the rule of thumb is that we should be under 200. Oh, sure, there's good cholesterol which is HDL and bad which is LDL.
I will have to set another appt. with my doctor to see what I need to do.
Oh, I already know. See Deb's recommendation above, I need to exercise, take care of myself, and eat better. Yeah, I know.
Another thing, the reason we were at Walmart was to get a gift for Ellen's friend, Erin. Erin is my manager's boss's daughter. It was Erin's birthday party and they were doing a roller skating party. Ellen and Sarah have the same shopping genes that I have. They suck at it. I asked a Walmart employee what she would recommend. She didn't have any kid's so she called over this person who has kids. This person with kids was a little weird and she had the worst suggestions. She kept babbling and babbling. I just wanted to knock a shelf on top of her and walk away. I told her I had left my wallet and keys in the photos center, so I had to to get them. (I just used that as an excuse). She would have kept me there for hours giving me absolutely worthless advise. At this time we were running late.
We ended up getting a larger stuffed dog, some "junk" jewelry pack. I call it junk because that's what it technically is. I hope Erin liked it. I hate shopping. We also got a large decorative gift bag, tissue paper to pack in the bag, and a card.
We then rushed out of Walmart and hopped into the car. I gave Ellen the card and envelope and she wrote in the card. I then asked if she was going to write anything on the envelope. She was. She started to write Happy... but she mispelled it. She did exactly what I would have done. She ripped the card out of the envelope, threw the envelope on the floor and put the card in the bag without an envelope. She did a good job.
The odd thing is that I knew I had 3 days to get a gift with Ellen. I waited until the last minute. I guess I will never learn.
We had a credit union board meeting tonight. I politically did all the right things. I solicited member support for the secretary position. I even e-mailed the current chair that I wanted that position. Well the newly elected guy nominated another newly elected guy (I already talked to both of these guys) and so now I had a competitor for this position. The chairman said people can self nominate. It was all going wrong. I knew the stakes were against me. I saw it coming. I nominated myself instead of saving face and leaving this guy take the position unchallenged. The chairman then suggested we do a paper ballot. Well we all wrote on the paper ballots and the person who was counting asked if he should read off each ballot one-by-one.
I knew I was dead in the water so I said no, just count them and announce the elected person. I reminded them that this was not survivor and we did not have to make it dramatic. The other guy was elected for this position.
I think I lost because I'm pudgy and have high cholesterol.

The Temperature of Heat
Ok, so here is the rest of the squirrel story. This last weekend, I was on the computer writing letters to orphans in Peru when I saw that squirrel going the other way in a slow slumber to the opposite side of the house.
I got the pellet gun and went to that side of the house. I thought I saw it, so I took the screen out of the laundry window and cranked the window open. (I specifically got windows like this so I could take the screen off from the inside and the open it to shoot outside). Anyway I thought I saw the squirrel, I shot at it after checking that I had a safe backstop (the neighbor's house).
Well, I obviously missed because the clothes basket I was standing in wasn't fully flush on the floor and it was wobbling. I pumped the gun again and found that the thing that I was shooting at was not the fat squirrel but a little chipmunk. So after a long time waiting for the fat squirrel to reappear, it never did. So I shot at a wood pecker. I hit the tree but missed the bird.
Today, I had a meeting with my boss. We were able to iron some things out. It was a fairly good meeting.
Ellen and Sarah are over here currently. I picked them up from their other home and we stopped at the library, and both of them checked out some books.
Then we did some grocery shopping.
Then we went to the annual meeting of the credit union. I am a member of the board of directors and I got to sit at the head of the table while we conducted the meeting. It was short and sweet. They had created a fairly nice brochure that displayed the photos of each board member. I showed Ellen and Sarah my picture. It's cool because they know almost everybody that was pictured.
I don't know what it will take to get Kris to come down here and organize for us. I keep mentioning it and mentioning it. Just come down. The code to my garage door is likely the same as your's. It starts with 5*** or if you need another clue, it used to be Deb and my last house number which began with 1***.
If that doesn't work, you might be able to crawl in the laundry window. I can't remember if I shut it.
Here is the project list: First clean the office and the desk. This is a high priority since a messy desk drives me crazy. I am seriously crazy because the desk is very, very messy.
Then the garage. The garage just needs a very good organizing. Do you remember how messed up the "shed" at the farm used to be. Well it's not as bad as that. It is maybe 1/100,000th as bad. It would likely take about 4-5 hours to organize it very nicely.
Then the utility room. The utility room just needs a little organizing. Maybe 3-4 hours total.
Doesn't this sound like fun?
Kris, I will give you a little extra incentive. Deb said she doesn't want anybody snooping. But I insist upon it. We will even likely be able to treat who ever comes with you to dinner.
Kris, it would be good if you could swing over and pick up bob off his ass so he can come out here too. I have a whole bunch of wire cuts on my face from walking by all the wires sticking out all over the place.
If you don't want to drive down here, Brittany could drive, couldn't she?
Deb and I are planning to go to Maui from 5-10 to 5-19. The credit union would be sending me there for an educational seminar. I think this is a good deal. They would pay for airfare, hotel, rental vehicle, and all food (and drink) we would need. Essentially, the only thing we would have to pay for is snokeling, or a scenic helicopter ride. (Hey, maybe I could turn the helicopter ride in as a transportation expense).
I haven't been to hawaii yet and neither has Deb so this may be a good opportunity.
I am signing off. Take it easy. We hope when we come home tomorrow, this desk will be clean....

Saturday night:
We ate at the Dugout in Eitzen, MN tonight. Does anybody remember the dugout in Thorp? Well this dugout was quite the same except it was mostly an eating place.
The weather was rather nice today. I tried to track down the fat, and I mean FAT, squirrel that ate all the seeds out of our birdfeeder this fall. It was so fat it looked like a cat. Now that the weather warmed up, it is looking for more food but it didn't look so fat anymore. I can tell it's the same one because it has the same orange sheen to its fur. I was tracking it down with an old pump pellet gun.... You might ask why? Well because a shotgun in city limits would be too loud. You're probably asking why I was tracking it. Well, the odds are that I will never get it and I am waiting for Bob to come back down and finish some stuff. You might be asking why Bob needs to finish some stuff.
Well, do you remember the remodeling job Dad started in the bathroom and didn't finish, or the porch that he added on to the house that he never finished, or the corn crib that he started and didn't finish, or the fields that were only half planted, half plowed, or half harvested (or not harvested at all). Well I think that gene was passed down to me. I think it was also passed down to Bob. In fact, I think everybody has that gene. Now you know.
What does this have to do with the squirrel? Well, I was doing something on the computer this morning and saw it out the window. Like a normal person with adult ADD, I picked up the gun and pumped it 9 times, I thought 10 pumps would be too much, and 8 might not be enough. I loaded it with a pellet and walked around the house looking for a good window to open to try to get a good shot. Well, after about 4 rooms and deciding that the only ones that would work are the 2 windows that don't have screens on, I decided to put the safety on. Pretty smart. Anyway, no harm, no foul....yet.
I was carrying around an extra pellet in case I needed another shot. Well, I didn't want to carry the pellet in my hands, or my pocket so I held it in my mouth. I saw the squirrel but it soon vanished out of sight.
I stopped and waited. While I waited I was thinking of things that I should do during the day, waiting for the squirrel to move. Who knows, at this time it was probably on the other side of the house. Well, while I was thinking, I was wondering if the pellet was really made out of lead. I then thought about lead poisoning and how it affects the brain. I figured out that lead doesn't have a particular taste, it just tastes like it looks; nothing. I figured I've already ingested more lead in my life than most people so I didn't think a lot more would be ingested just by holding that lead pellet in my mouth.
Why don't I use copper BB's? I thought of that. They just don't seem the same. Sure, I've carried BB's in my mouth before. Is copper bad for you? Maybe.
Anyway, the gun is outside the front door, loaded of course, and the extra pellet is still in a pant pocket of my jeans after I took it out of my mouth.
I might have seen the squirrel if I wasn't distracted by the 5-6 deer running up the hillside on the other front side of the house. Somebody just got in their car after exiting their house and the house door opening and closing must have scared them to run up the hill.
My feet were getting cold through my untied tennis shoes so I came in the house. (after leaning the gun against the house outside the front door).
Opposum are really ugly animals. I dare anybody to find a picture of a cute Opposum on the internet and e-mail it to me. They are the ugliest animals in the world. I saw one on the way back from Eitzen. I don't even really know where Eitzen is. Deb just tells me to turn right or turn left and I just do it. I don't think I could find my way back if I needed to. I did find out that they do combine derbys there, so I might have to find my way back.
Again, it is late and I am thinking I should shoot out the pellet out of the gun so it doesn't remain loaded. The sad thing is, that the main purpose for doing it is so the gas chamber inside doesn't become stressed and leak (not because I worry someone will get hurt). Does leaving it pumped really cause the gas chamber to be weakened. I don't even know....it might just be a myth.
When Sarah and Ellen were here last, we lit off some fireworks. These were the ones I purchased in Tomah, which of course, are illegal. They are not only shoot into the air over and over, but they also explode. I like fireworks and the smell they give off. So does Sarah. In fact Sarah says she likes the smell of gasoline too. I think gasoline smells good too.
The other funny thing is that I was eating at a Chinese restaurant with my work group and an independent adjuster and as I was looking at the signs on the paper place mat such as monkey, rat, snake, etc. I found that my birth year said that people who were born in 1996 are very similar to me. That's odd because that is Sarah's birth year.
One of my co-workers was at this luncheon and he has a whole side bowl (the bowls you put sweet and sour red sauce into) loaded with hot mustard sauce. He said it's not hot and he would likely finish the bowl and get another refill to continue dipping his egg rolls. Well, I noticed that this mustard was not very much consumed. I asked him if he was going to eat the rest. He said no. I said I will bet $10 that he won't. I asked if anybody else would up the ante. Annette threw in $10, so far we had $20. Then I offered to double if anybody else would enter. Tom, the independent adjuster added $10, so now the pot was up to $40.
Tim, ate tea spoon after tea spoon until it was gone. He very much earned the $40, he also earned a little of my respect, not much, but more than he had before.
Has anybody ever had that hot mustard sauce? It is deadly. Anyway, I sometimes think I have adult ADD, not as bad as some but I sometimes think I have it.
I just learned a few things today from the recent events. They are:
1. I should just buy more bird seed because the squirrel will keep eating it and we need enough for the birds too.
2. Church is as fun as you make it. (We went tonight at 4 before we went to the Dugout)
3. I have incompletion genes
4. Don't bet or gamble unless you are sure of the outcome
5. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree
